About

The Elite Supper Club was organized in the fall of 1945, to provide its members the opportunity to enjoy an evening of pleasure with friends and invited guests. Most of these events were held at the Bright Shawl in downtown San Antonio, which included dinner and dancing. The founder was Mrs. Juanita Keller, and sometime after her death and prior to 1962, the name was changed to the K Supper Club, in tribute to her efforts. These dances were an opportunity to engage in both formal elegant dress and dining, dancing to live bands.

That tradition continues today, with our most current venue being the Petroleum Club of San Antonio. The K Supper Club hosts several dinner dances a year.  Ballroom dancing is lovely to watch and amongst the members are local dance instructors who can provide the patience needed for some of us to learn how to move gracefully across the dance floor. Friendships are made as we all enjoy dancing and come from multiple backgrounds and walks of life. We hope you might consider joining us and urge you to contact us via our email at ksupperclub@yahoo.com
